How to Secure a Booking:
Live auditions are favored over recorded submissions, with those auditioning in person given priority. Auditions take place each Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Burbank location.

Comedians are required to register online beforehand. Participants should be ready to impress with their best 2-minute set. Following the audition, feedback will be provided by the booking department, and performers may be offered bookings on the same day. To register for auditions, please click HERE.

It's important to note that the booking department may request multiple auditions, even after a comedian has been booked previously.

For Comedians Located Outside the State:
Comedians not able to audition in person are encouraged to submit a 5-minute set video to bookings@flapperscomedy.com. Efforts will be made to accommodate out-of-state talent. The video should effectively introduce the comedian, covering the "who, what, where, when, and why" within the initial 90 seconds.

In July, LIT is set to hold its annual open auditions, inviting talents for its house teams, performance workshops, writers' groups, special projects, and other exciting opportunities.

LIT seeks individuals who embody more than just comedic talent; the organization values a strong commitment to a supportive, positive, and inclusive environment. Joining Air Force bands requires passing competitive auditions, announced on the Air Force Bands website and other channels when vacancies arise.

Process Overview:
Initial Application: Contact the relevant band to submit required materials for preliminary evaluation of musical skills.
Pre-screening: Reach out to a local Air Force Recruiter for an eligibility interview to enlist in the U.S. Air Force.
Live Audition: Qualifying candidates will be invited to perform and showcase ensemble skills at their own cost.
Enlistment Process: Musically qualified individuals proceed to enlistment with an Air Force Form 485, pending a skill assessment and physical exam.
Basic Training: Successful candidates undergo Basic Military Training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Band members typically excel in this phase and, upon completion, join their assigned band.

Legally Blonde: The Musical

Get ready to bend and snap! "Legally Blonde The Musical," the effervescent hit inspired by the beloved film, is calling for auditions. Join us as the indomitable Elle Woods leaps beyond the silver screen to the stage, challenging stereotypes with her charm and chasing her dreams with unstoppable vivacity. This musical marvel packs a punch with catchy tunes and electrifying dance numbers that are ridiculously enjoyable!

Rehearsals kick off around May 20th, taking place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings.

Audition Information:

General Production Details:
TCR Auditorium Production: Expect 15-21 shows over a span of 4-6 weeks with a rehearsal period of 8-10 weeks.
TCR Grandon Studio Production: There will be 12-15 shows over 4-5 weeks, requiring a 4-6 week rehearsal commitment.
TCR Out-of-Doors @ Brucemore: Performers will take the stage for 11-14 shows over 3 weeks, with rehearsals lasting 4-6 weeks.
Rehearsals are typically held 4-5 times a week, mostly on evenings and weekends. Full technical rehearsals usually occur over one weekend day, lasting 8-10 hours, including lunch and dinner breaks (meals are provided).

Honoraria:
TCR offers an honorarium of $25 per performance to cast members over 16 years of age and $20 per performance to crew members.

Casting:
Roles in TCR productions are filled by talented individuals from the regional community, including cast, crew, and creative teams, and operate on a non-union basis.
