Since 2014, OTL Seat Fillers has stayed true to its mission: honoring entertainment and making the arts more accessible across the US and UK. We privately fill seats for live venues and serve as a hub of services that support both audiences and event promoters:

2. OTL Seat Fillers
A private membership club offering free tickets to plays, musicals, comedy shows, and other entertainment events.
How It Works:
OTL offers flexible local and on-call membership plans for 2 or 4 seats—perfect for couples, friends, or families. Unlike ticket brokers or discount sites, OTL provides members with exclusive access to free tickets, without devaluing events.
Members can choose preferred cities, including Atlanta, Austin, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and London - or go with on-call access in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh, Seattle, St. Louis, South Florida, and Tampa Bay. And, after 10 years, we're finally in NYC with The Great OTL NYC Seat Fillers Experiment!
Key Benefits:
Members pay a modest monthly fee (just 3.65 in London and in on-call cities!) for access to invite-only events not available to the public. Participating partners are never charged to be involved and seat filler members never pay for tickets.
What Do Seat Fillers Really Get?
So here’s the truth—OTL Seat Fillers isn’t for everyone. We’re not a "shop for free tickets" kind of site, and you won’t find a menu of shows to pick from like it’s a buffet.
OTL is a fun little club for people who love the thrill of the unexpected and want to support arts and entertainment in a unique, behind-the-scenes kind of way.
Here’s how it works:
- 🎟️ You don’t browse or choose tickets—invitations come to you.
- 🤫 We don’t post names of shows or venues publicly (it keeps us exclusive and protects regular ticket sales).
- 🎉 Sometimes there are a few invites a month. Sometimes none.
- 💰 Even one invite could cover your dues for years.
And because we lowered prices a few years ago (and haven’t touched them since), you’re paying less than most movie apps or streaming services—and getting live entertainment instead!
Some shows are posted now and many are waiting in the wings, but the lineup changes constantly—that’s the point. OTL Seat Fillers is all about surprise and delight, not shopping and scrolling.

Spotlight listings are available across all 50 U.S. states and major UK cities. The best part? It’s open to everyone, not just OTL members.

It’s simple: We’re inviting New Yorkers to join a private entertainment club for just $12.99, and that one-time payment covers the rest of 2025. That’s not monthly, not per show - just $12.99 total for an all-inclusive experience.
In return, members receive surprise ticket invitations to live shows and events happening in the NYC area. Theatre, comedy, music, immersive experiences... we never know what’s coming next, and that’s part of the fun.
This is the same seat-filling concept that’s been quietly thriving in cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, and even London for over 10 years. But now, we’re bringing the magic to NYC - and testing out what happens when the city that never sleeps offers access to free entertainment nights out.
Seat Filling for Promoters & Venues
💡 Promoters list their shows for free. Invitations are private and don’t affect ticket sales - but help fill the room with happy locals. OTL has a dedicated Event Submission form so promoters control their listings with everything from images to dress code.
Registration
NYC isn’t just about big Broadway blockbusters (though we love those, too). It’s filled with comedy, music, immersive shows, and Off-Broadway gems - the fun, the funky, the “I never would’ve gone if not for this” kind of entertainment. So, locals are invited to claim their spot.
