A New Way To Sell Tickets with Touchless Ticketing Tools

Mobile Touchless Ticketing Tools for a New World

Sell, Send, and Scan with Your New Mobile Box Office in a Virtual Box!

By Lu, OTL City Guides & Seat Fillers

Even though I’m introducing a new service, I’m happy to say that I'm not here to sell you anything. Instead, I get to share a fantastic, full-service new touchless, ticketless approach to event ticketing, and there’s no charge to use it (woo hoo!).

OTL Seat Fillers have supported the arts and entertainment communities across the U.S. and in London for over seven years, providing free and private seat filling.

Now, OTL City Guides Tickets is starting in 10 of our busiest U.S. locations - Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle, South Florida, and Tampa Bay. It lets you sell, send, and scan tickets with tools like reporting, social media integration, reserved seating charts, tickets by text or email, customer communication, and more - right from your easy-to-use dashboard.

All About Touchless Ticketless Ticketing Through OTL and Evvnt

Your time is valuable, so I’m going to get right to it and share the benefits of using OTL City Guides Tickets. I think you’ll be excited about it, as it’s a new way to take your events to the next level.

Exclusive to Each Location

Each OTL City Guides Tickets website portal is exclusive to its location. So, OTL City Guides Atlanta sticks to Atlanta area events - no sifting through long lists in hundreds of locations.

Custom Branded Ticketing Sales Page

Build your own custom ticket sales page in just a few minutes. Add videos, images, and other imagery based on your brand and events.

All Types of Tickets

You might have a system that sticks to the basics, but you can even build your venue's seating chart with OTL City Guides Tickets. It doesn’t matter if you’re working with General Admission, Reserved, Donation-based, or Free Tickets – OTL City Guides Tickets can handle them all.

One-Click Purchasing

Once you take your web page live, you can use the URL in marketing. But we also suggest turning it into a QR code to make things even more accessible. Your attendees can pull out their phones, scan a sign or brochure and buy tickets instantly. We've seen festivals, outdoor yoga classes, and other event promoters add their QR code to a sign at the event entrance. Instead of ticket buyers waiting in a box office line, they pull out their smartphones. Easy peasy!

A Variety of Ticketing Tools at Your Disposal

Your ticketing dashboard allows you to email customers, refund, or exchange tickets. There's access to real-time reporting, social media integration, and plenty more options - all included.

Email or Text Tickets

It's up to you - send your tickets via text or email. Just choose wisely, as you can build your marketing list with a new customer database.

Scan Tickets Using the Free Event App – Touchless, Ticketless Ticketing

On the big day, you can download the Evvnt app and scan tickets right from your customers' phones to yours or your ticket takers – mobile touchless, ticketless ticketing that accommodates our new way of doing business (and living!).

One More Benefit – And It’s a Big One

Oh, and it’s all free for you. That's F-R-E-E!

It’s a New Way of Managing Events With Touchless Ticketing Tools

It’s a new world, and paper tickets are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Additionally, with COVID restrictions, it’s not even common to pass a credit card, pen, or other materials back and forth anymore. That means venues and event planners are looking for new ways to handle ticket sales and ticket taking.

Ticketing Portability

While we didn’t intend to focus on the touchless, ticketless aspect, we just realized that it’s a huge benefit as our world is so different now. Even venues with in-house ticketing systems might benefit from a portable box office in a virtual box.

Even if you have a ticketing system in place, why not supplement it? You can have a box office and a portable box office. Double the systems mean double the access for ticket buyers.

Your Customers Buy With Their Phones, You Scan Their Tickets With Yours!

  1. Your customers can scan a QR code displayed on your sign or brochure (or you can use your URL)
  1. In a few clicks, they purchase tickets sent via email or text
  1. Your ticket takers use the Evvnt app to scan the mobile tickets for admission

Seriously, now, it doesn’t get much easier than that, does it?!

No worries, as OTL City Guides Tickets is user-friendly. There are no hoops to jump through or training needed. In fact, you can build your ticket sales page in minutes and it'll look amazing!

However, you might feel better knowing that we’ve also got videos, an entire help section, and some tips to take your event to the next level. Evvnt’s ticketing gurus are also standing by to answer any support tickets you submit – although you probably won’t need them!

Request a Username and You're Off and Running

To get started, all you need is a username. So, just fill out this quick form with your name and organization. From there, someone (probably me) will put your organization in the system, and you’ll be ready to go.

Then, it’s all up to you and your imagination. Get creative with your event write-up and images, and you can even add a video to your web page. It’s super easy and really fun to get the ball rolling!

Why is OTL City Guides Tickets Different from Eventbrite or Brown Paper Tickets?

Aside from the long list of ticketing tools at your disposal, there are a few other things that set OTL City Guides Tickets Austin apart from other event portals.

One City and One City Only

The number one distinction between OTL City Guides Tickets and other ticketing portals like Eventbrite or Brown Paper Tickets is that it’s city-specific.

There are 10 different OTL City Guides Tickets locations, and each is dedicated to one market. That means, instead of your customers scrolling through dozens (or hundreds) of cities, they’re going right to local opportunities.

For example, if you’re promoting an event in Chicago, you’ll use OTL City Guides Tickets – Chicago. That particular site features ticket opportunities in the greater Chicago area exclusively. You won’t find Seattle events tucked away on the same portal. For those, customers will access OTL City Guides Tickets - Seattle.

Your Event is YOUR Event

While the local focus is the primary difference, you’ll also find that you can customize your individual ticket sales page more through OTL City Guides Tickets.

You’ve got a lot of wide-open real estate to really do your event justice. And, from there, you can opt to take advantage of other ticketing tools like adding a donation button or sending secret access codes or reminders to your customers.
