It’s 2019 and, if you live in the Tampa Bay area, boredom is not on this year’s agenda.
The entertainment calendar is already in full swing with upcoming concerts like Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes in Clearwater at Ruth Eckerd Hall on February 2nd. Dave Matthews may not be hitting town until July, but tickets go on sale February 22nd for his one-night-only appearance at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater.
If you’re a country music fan, then you can fill up five dates on your Google Calendar with the 2019 Country Megaticket including Dierks Bentley and Rascal Flatts.

CLEARWATER — Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes will perform Saturday, Feb. 2, at Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater.
Dave Matthews Band is coming to Tampa
Their annual trip to the area comes July 24 at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 22.
Every ticket purchased for the tour also comes with a surprise unreleased live recording from one of the band’s 2018 tour dates.

Live Nation has unveiled the lineup for its 2019 Country Megaticket, a bundle of tickets to five concerts at Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre that can be purchased starting January 25th. Leading the way: Florida Georiga Line, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, and Chris Young, with one more act to be announced in the future.
Ticket packages go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 25 at prices ranging from $199 for lawn seats to $999 for VIP seating. Click here for details.
The Tampa Bay theater that’s not to be missed this spring
It goes without saying we think you should see every play on offer in Tampa Bay this spring. But since there are about 8,765 other things to do, we know that may not be possible. Given that, we’re telling you which shows we’re excited about from each of our local theaters this spring. These are by no means the only shows you should see, but if you can’t get to all the plays, you’ll be sorry if you don’t see these.

Out of the Mouths of Poets This locally written play — the author lives on the site of an old peacock farm in Clearwater — proves that Tampa Bay’s vault of talent overflows.
